Model Predictive Current Control for DC-Link Ripple Voltage Suppression in Electrolytic Capacitor-Less Drive System

Electrolytic capacitor-less drive systems have a higher lifespan and reliability. However, the DC-link voltage of ECL has sudden change under dynamic conditions, which results in serious degradation system performance. To solve problem, this paper proposes model predictive current control (MPCC) based on motor power change. A grid is established. Motor introduced into cost function, so that can quickly accurately track thereby effectively avoiding voltage. Meanwhile, for decoupling inductor asymmetric split-capacitor active circuit (APDC) constructed. It realizes high-precision complementary voltages various working reduces ripple. The experimental verify effectiveness proposed MPCC.
